Navigating childhood and adolescence can be challenging. Today, children and adolescents face many barriers: family stressors, peer pressure, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression are just some of the obstacles that come with living in today’s society. Our youth can benefit from a healthy emotional outlet as they navigate life. My goal is to assist you and your child in learning how to manage or overcome life’s challenges.
I am an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Dr. Terra Griffin and a National Board Certified Counselor. I received my Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017. My work experience includes working with children, adolescents, and families in a therapeutic environment. I provide a safe, comfortable environment in which to work with you and your child. Together, we can develop a plan that best meet your child’s needs and assist you, as a parent, in today’s society.
