Caroline Baker, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC
Caroline Baker is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has over 10 years of nursing experience in psychiatry and behavioral health and nursing education combined. She currently holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Alabama State University, a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and two Master’s degrees in Nursing Education and Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her background includes biomedical research, travel nursing in psychiatry, working child, adolescent and adult patient populations with behavioral, substance abuse and severe mental illnesses and clinical adjunct instructor.
In her 10 years of nursing she has publish an article “What Are You Afraid Of? Managing Staff Fear and Anxiety with Agitated Patients” with the Journal of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and a book titled “The 30 Day Mental Health Reset Workbook” on Amazon and recently launched a YouTube page titled “The Mental Health Detox”. She is very passionate about caring for those with mental illnesses and sharing knowledge and education about mental health to everyone.
